Lineadacqua ZONA WET
Design: Giorgio

Design Giorgio Rava
A clean, decisive cut—a slit that invites you to draw near, to explore, to go beyond the surface, giving the wall a three-dimensional quality. And then the water gushes forth as if from a spring, seemingly from an undefined point, expressing all its primordial energy—an expression of life and immediate refreshment. Lineadacqua is a cut in the wall that runs from top to bottom through the partition, concealing the faucet within. A solution that reveals itself only when the water gushes forth in all its force, with a powerful and rejuvenating jet. An extreme simplification of form that conceals a sophisticated and invisible technological framework—a complete stripping away of design elements that makes the water and its flow the sole protagonist of the scene.
This is true even in the bathroom’s relaxation area. In the shower, the vertical dimension of the volumes defines the space, while the ability to position the jet at different heights evokes the natural flow of water emerging wherever it finds a passage between the rocks. In the bathtub setting, however, it is the weight of the water meeting the material ready to contain it—to treasure it, as in a spring—that takes center stage. The stream of water gushing from the wall breaks with classical compositional conventions, captures the attention, and stands as the focal point of the space’s hierarchy.
